You can log in to a computer at any library with your library card and PIN.
You can use
- the internet
- Microsoft Office including, Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- our Online Resources to research encyclopedias, dictionaries and other reference resources
- our eBooks, eAudiobooks and our digital magazines

Information about your booking
Each computer session lasts 90 minutes. You are limited to 1 session per day.
Computer sessions will end 15 minutes before the library closes.
For the safety of customers and staff, we may be unable to provide help.

Guidelines for using library computers
Please sanitise your hands before you use a computer.
You must agree to our Acceptable Usage policy.
- black and white printing: 20p per A4 sheet
- colour printing: 80p per A4 sheet
Payment for printing must be made in cash at the self-service machines. You can pay by cash or card in staffed opening times at Burnt Oak, Chipping Barnet, Edgware, Golders Green, Hendon, North Finchley and Osidge libraries. You can pay by cash only at all other libraries.
If you need to print, please do so within your 90-minute booking slot, as you will not be able to use the computer after your session.
Wi-Fi is available at all Barnet Libraries. Login with your library card and PIN.
